Project summary in EnglishThe main goal of our present mobility project was quality development in our school, which was based on our three main needs: firstly, developing the linguistic competence of a broader circle of colleagues in foreign languages was necessary so that more of them could join international projects and partnerships with foreign schools, enabling them to communicate in everyday situations and taking part or even presenting at international conferences, reading reference books in their study field. Secondly, we wished more colleagues made progress in using digital materials in the classroom, to adjust to new trends in education. Thirdly, learning innovative methodology and broadening our perspectives are requirements both at personal and at institutional level in our ever changing world. The spirit of enterprise, especially in an international context, and developing competencies (digital, linguistic and intercultural) are all high priorities of the European Union, which happily coincided with our inner needs. Owing to mobilities, significant quality progress took place in various fields in our school and also in a wider circle due to the dissemination process. Our students, among whom there are surely a lot of future researchers, inventors, decision-makers and educators, may well have benefitted the most from our training project. Therefore it is not an exaggeration to say that we have made a strong foundation for great achievements of future generations. We had carefully selected courses which not only developed communicational and intercultural competencies, but also served our modernizational aspirations. We are very proud to state that 16 teachers of a variety of subjects conducted 22 mobilities: 9 teachers took part in language courses, 3 teachers in ITC courses, 6 language teachers in language, culture and methodology courses and 1 colleague took part in a job-shadowing activity. Apart from these, a trainer training course and a cross-cultural education course was included. Constant progress and improvement in methodology along with lifelong learning are considered essential by all of us. With the help of this project we could broaden our knowledge as well as our perspectives in European institutions and brought home what we had learnt. The whole institution profited from sharing new ideas and methods. Moreover, this project promoted cooperation among colleagues, also from other schools, often from other countries, and the spirit of enterprise strengthened our motivation for constant innovation and prepared us for the challenges of tutoring talents in the 21st century. Finally, as a result of working in intercultural contexts during the courses, the positive changes in teacher attitudes and our growing intercultural awareness were an extra benefit for students and teachers alike.
